Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all Discovery website plans. By starting a plan with us, you agree to the terms below. The terms specific to your plan apply in addition to the "All plans" terms.
All plans
- Billing: fixed plans are billed in advance at the start of each month or year. Pay-as-you-go is billed at the start of the next month, with an order report attached.
- Cancellation: Static can be cancelled anytime and ends at the end of the month you have paid for. Dynamic has a 6-month minimum term and Custom a 12-month minimum term, unless you paid the setup fee to stay month-to-month; after the minimum term, you can cancel anytime. If you leave before your minimum term ends, you pay your plan's setup fee (₹9,999 / $149 for Dynamic, ₹14,999 / $249 for Custom). Upgrading from Dynamic to Custom starts Custom's 12-month minimum term. Annual plans can be cancelled within 30 days for a full refund of the plan fee. Pay-as-you-go has its own terms below.
- You own your business: your domain, logo, photos, content and customer data are yours. If you leave, we transfer your domain and give you an export of your content and orders.
- Your data: we use your business and order data only to run and improve your website and reports. We never sell your customers' details.
- Taxes: Indian clients are billed with 18% GST (9% CGST + 9% SGST within Maharashtra, 18% IGST outside), showing our GSTIN and SAC code. Clients outside India are billed in US dollars without Indian GST; any local taxes in your country are your responsibility.
- Third-party charges: payment, delivery, SMS and WhatsApp messaging providers bill you directly at their own rates.
- Launch date: we confirm your launch date once we have the items listed under "What we need from you".
Static plans
- Up to 10 pages and 1 enquiry form.
- Up to 50 GB of visitor traffic a month, which is far more than a typical small business uses.
- No customer logins, online payments or database features; for those, move to Dynamic.
- 2 content change requests a month; extra changes or new pages are quoted.
Dynamic plans
Dynamic runs on a server sized for a growing small business. Your plan includes, every month:

If you go over. A short spike is fine. If you go over any limit for 2 months in a row, we tell you and give you 30 days to choose: an add-on pack for that resource, or a move to the Custom plan. We never switch off your website or add charges without telling you first.
Custom plans
- Your limits and server size are set in your quote, based on the features you choose. Content change requests are fair use, up to 20 a month.
- Each custom feature is quoted and approved by you before we build it, with a delivery date.
- If your usage or new features need a bigger server, we tell you first and agree the new monthly fee with you.
- Features are maintained for as long as you stay on the plan.
Pay-as-you-go
- Fee: 7% of online sales made through your website, counted after taxes, delivery charges, refunds and cancellations. Sales you make in your shop or on other apps are not counted.
- All online payments go through your website's checkout, so sales can be counted accurately. Moving online customers to another payment route is a breach of these terms.
- Minimum term: 12 months. If you leave earlier, you pay an exit fee equal to the list price of the setup and custom features we built for you, minus the 7% fees you have already paid. If your fees already cover that amount, there is no exit fee.
- Custom features are built one at a time, prioritised from a growth plan we draw up each month from your own sales metrics, starting with the features most likely to increase your sales. You approve each feature before we build it.
- Low-sales review: if online sales stay below ₹75,000 (or $1,000) a month for 3 months in a row after your first 6 months, we review your plan with you, and may move you to Dynamic with 30 days' notice.
- After 12 months, you can switch to the Custom plan with 30 days' notice and keep everything we built.
